Terms of Service

Welcome to PulseBoard. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PulseBoard mobile application ("the app"), developed by Daniel ("the developer," "we," "our"). By downloading, installing, or using PulseBoard, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

PulseBoard is a real-time intelligence dashboard for the Philippines that aggregates publicly available data including weather forecasts, news, fuel prices, market data, earthquake reports, flight information, alerts, and other informational content. The app also provides AI-powered insights through its AI Intel feature.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use PulseBoard. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the app, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Registration

Some features require a registered account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to update it as needed. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

4. Free and Pro Plans

Free Plan

PulseBoard offers a free tier with access to core features, limited to 5 active widgets and 5 AI Intel messages per day.

Pro Plan

PulseBoard Pro is available as a monthly or annual subscription, offering unlimited widgets, unlimited AI Intel messages, and access to premium features. Subscription pricing is displayed in the app in Philippine Pesos (₱) and may vary by region.

Billing and Renewals

Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store or Google Play Store
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's App Store or Play Store settings
No refunds are provided for partial billing periods, except as required by applicable law or store policies

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the app for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app
Interfere with or disrupt the app's infrastructure or services
Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the app or its data
Share, resell, or redistribute your Pro subscription access
Use the AI Intel feature to generate harmful, abusive, or misleading content
Misrepresent AI-generated content as professional advice (financial, medical, legal, or otherwise)

6. Data Accuracy and Disclaimers

PulseBoard aggregates data from third-party public sources. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any information displayed in the app.

Fuel prices are based on publicly available data from the Department of Energy (DOE) and partner sources. Actual pump prices may differ.
Weather data is sourced from OpenWeatherMap and PAGASA feeds. Always refer to official PAGASA advisories for severe weather decisions.
Earthquake and alert data is sourced from PHIVOLCS, NDRRMC, and USGS. In emergencies, follow official government instructions.
Market and financial data is sourced from Yahoo Finance and may be delayed. This is not financial advice.
News content is sourced via RSS feeds from third-party publishers. PulseBoard does not author or endorse news articles.
AI Intel responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain inaccuracies. AI-generated content should not be treated as professional, financial, medical, or legal advice.
Toll fee data is based on publicly posted rates and may not reflect real-time changes.
Flight data is sourced from publicly available tracking services and may not reflect real-time status.

7. Intellectual Property

The PulseBoard app, including its design, code, branding, and original content, is the intellectual property of the developer. Third-party content (news articles, data feeds, etc.) remains the property of their respective owners. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the app or its proprietary components without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PulseBoard and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. This includes, but is not limited to, damages resulting from reliance on data displayed in the app, service interruptions, or loss of data.

The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

9. Service Availability

We strive to keep PulseBoard available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The app may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. Third-party data sources may also experience outages independent of PulseBoard.

10. Termination

You may stop using PulseBoard at any time by deleting the app and your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases and your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by updating the effective date. Continued use of PulseBoard after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree with the changes, you should stop using the app.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict of law principles.
