Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 17, 2026

PulseBoard ("we," "our," or "the app") is a real-time intelligence dashboard for the Philippines, developed by Daniel ("the developer"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

By using PulseBoard, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and password. Passwords are securely hashed and stored by our authentication provider (Supabase). We may also collect your display name if you choose to provide one.

Location Data

With your permission, PulseBoard accesses your device's location to provide localized weather forecasts, nearby alerts, and relevant regional data. Location data is used in real time and is not stored on our servers. You can revoke location access at any time through your device settings.

AI Chat Messages

When you use the AI Intel feature, your messages are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. We may store chat history to provide conversation continuity. Messages are associated with your account but are not shared with third parties beyond the AI processing provider.

Usage and Analytics Data

We collect anonymous usage data and crash reports to improve app performance and stability. This may include device type, operating system version, app version, and interaction patterns. This data cannot be used to personally identify you.

Subscription Data

If you subscribe to PulseBoard Pro, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) through RevenueCat. We do not collect or store your payment card details. We receive only subscription status, purchase date, and expiration information.

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. AI chat history is retained to provide conversation continuity and may be periodically cleared. Analytics data is retained in anonymized form. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8).

6. Children's Privacy

PulseBoard is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
